PEORIA – Cactus League Spring training opened for the 26th season at the Peoria Sports Complex and will be the home for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres as they prepare for the 2019 Major Baseball League (MLB) season.
Resident Rewards are back this spring. Offered exclusively for local Peoria residents, the reward program allows locals to save 25 percent off every spring training game and receive free parking. In order to get the discount, you must prove you are a resident of Peoria, Ariz., and there is a limit of four tickets per game.
“We’re excited to bring back Resident Rewards for the third year in a row,” said Mike Hyland, Peoria Sports Complex Superintendent. “We saw tremendous growth in fan participation of this program last year and are pleased to offer it again.”
The Peoria Sports Complex is offering upgraded experiences for fans too.

All of proceeds from the dog tickets will benefit the Arizona Humane Society.
Dogs must remain on a leash and water troughs are provided during Dog Days.
The last Giveaway Day will be on March 7, where the first 3,000 fans through the gates will receive a keepsake Padres earbuds case with a key ring.

Families can visit guest services up to one hour before the first pitch on game day to register for an activity. Plus, every kid can run the bases after the game.
“Spring training is one of my favorite times of the year and I am excited to announce the opening of another great season of baseball,” said Mayor Cathy Carlat. “We’ve worked hard to make the fan experience the best that it can be, and I hope baseball fans from near and far take advantage of the fun to be had in our award-winning facility.”
