THEFT OF MAIL FROM POSTAL FACILITY AND USPS EMPLOYEE
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for mail theft from a postal facility and a postal employee.
In the early morning hours of January 7, 2020, and January 10, 2020, suspects stole mail from the Daisy Mountain Post Office, located at 44047 N. 43rd Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, 85087. On January 13, 2020, at approximately 10:12 AM, the same suspects stole mail from a U.S. Postal Service employee at the intersection of W. Catalina Drive and N. 130th Avenue, Avondale, AZ, 85392.
The suspects were seen driving a 2016-2019 silver, four door Toyota Corolla. The vehicle may have a missing hubcap or a spare tire on the front driver’s side. Rear vehicle windows are tinted dark. The suspects are described as:
SUSPECT #1 – Hispanic male, 6’1”, heavy-set, medium complexion, heavy Hispanic accent. Black ski mask with red and white circles on top and eye slits.
SUSPECT #2 – Hispanic or White male, 5’9” to 6’0”, average build. Black ski mask with red and white circles on top and eye slits.
