Business spotlight: Mountainside Air

PHOENIX – Mountainside Air is a veteran owned and operated heating and air conditioning (HVAC) company that can take care of any repairs, service or a complete system replacement for residential or commercial systems.

Tom Doepke is the owner, he started the business in February 2018 after working for other larger HVAC companies around the Phoenix Valley.

Mountainside Air’s best-selling product are the ductless “mini-split” air conditioners that have been used overseas for decades.

“They are perfect for heating or cooling garages, that hot room in your home or add-ons. They use about a tenth of the power of a central AC, and let you condition only the space needed instead of cooling the whole house,” Doepke said. “Our customers love them.”

Doepke also noted that “they have them everywhere overseas and they have been getting very popular here lately.”

And Doepke knows from experience because he served for six years in the Air Force working in the HVAC field.  Once he retired from the Air Force in 2016, he continued working in the HVAC industry for other companies, giving him over nine years of experience.

But it is Mountainside Air’s personalized service and small business touch that customers love and sets it apart from other HVAC companies.

Beyond specializing in ductless air conditioners Mountainside Air also focuses on “keeping our customers happy.”
