Pet of the week: Meet Misty

ANTHEM – At around eight-years-old Misty is a quiet, middle-aged gal. She is a grey domestic short hair cat.

Initially, after she was found in someone’s garage, she was not friendly, not eating, and very cranky. However, after an examination by the great folks at Daisy Mountain Vets, they found that she had a large number of rotten teeth that must have been causing her a lot of pain.

Since these teeth have been removed she has turned into a different person. She’s mellow and friendly and purrs a lot.

She likes to sit on the arm of her foster mom’s recliner so that she can be petted and look out the window at the same time. She would be a great companion for an older person who lives a quiet lifestyle.

If you would like to foster her, as she will need a new foster because hers is a snowbird and heading north for the summer. Fill out a foster form on anthempets.org.

If you would like to give the deserving senior gal the forever home she so deserves, She is in need of home where she is the only pet.

Her adoption fee is $60.
