CAVE CREEK – The Cave Creek Rodeo Days Parade took place on the morning of March 16, on the main drag of downtown bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate the town’s Western heritage and unique, rural lifestyle.
The parade is always a community favorite with Creekers showing off their floats, equestrians, dogs, stagecoaches, businesses, organizations and specialty vehicles as prideful attendees cheer them on – usually by name.
The parade also kicked off the 42nd annual Cave Creek Rodeo Days, which will feature performances from the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA), concerts, dancing and other special events around town from March 22-24.
Dubbed as the “Rodeo Under the Stars,” the PRCA events take place at the Memorial Arena Rodeo Grounds, 37201 N. 28th Street, and is expected to have thousands of people attending. In 2018, Cave Creek Rodeo Days had over 11,000 people in attendance and it received second place in the Justin Best Footing Award.
