Expect great weather and free family fun at the 20th annual Anthem Days

ANTHEM – The 20th annual Anthem Days will be taking place on March 23-24, at the Community Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission and parking free for the popular family-friendly event.

Attendees are expected from all over the Valley to enjoy the great weather, atmosphere and community Anthem offers along with live music, a beer garden, food court, kid zone, carnival, business expo, vendors and an egg hunt.

The carnival opens earlier than the Anthem Days celebration on the evening of Thursday, March 21, and on the evening of Friday, March 22.  Locals can take advantage of all-you-can-ride wristband coupons available at the Community Center, Civic Building and the Anthem Community Council Facebook page.

The carnival schedule will be posted online and prices and times are subject to change by the carnival management.

Get a chance to meet the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Ferguson “Fergie” Jenkins from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the basketball courts, and participate in Physical Therapy’s baseball speed pitch challenge.

The Caution Party Band will play on Saturday and the band Zero Gravity Fighters will play on Sunday.

Anthem’s infamous egg hunt for kids hosted by Christ’s Church of the Valley will take place on Sunday, including an exclusive egg hunt for special needs children that will start at 10:15 a.m. on Softball Field #4. It will also feature the Hippity Hop Band, Mother Nature and Peter Cottontail.

Anthem will also be holding a raffle for a Ring Video Doorbell system, attendees over the age of 18 can collect stamps from 10 booths at Anthem Days and return the completed raffle card to the Anthem Community Council booth for entry.  Winners will be announced the week after the event.
