ProMusica AZ Composer wins top individual honor at Governor’s Arts Awards

PHOENIX – ProMusica Arizona is delighted to announce that its composer of “Mountain Days: The John Muir Musical in Concert,” Craig Bohmler, received the Artist Award at the 38th annual Governor’s Arts Awards.

Open to artists of all artistic disciplines, this award recognizes an Arizona artist of significant merit, leadership, or reputation whose creations or contributions enrich the state and the field of the arts.

ProMusica Arizona is presenting the Arizona Premiere of Craig’s work, “Mountain Days: The John Muir Musical in Concert” from March 22 to 24.

Mountain Days Dates and Locations:

  • Friday, March 22, at 7 p.m, at Lowell Rogers Amphitheatre, Murphy Park in Glendale (outdoor performance and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs for seating).
  • Saturday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. at North Valley Christian Academy in Phoenix (just south of Carefree Highway).
  • Sunday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at American Lutheran Church in Sun City.

Ticket prices range from $22 to $12, with children 15 and younger free with a paid adult. Free student rush tickets are available 15 minutes before each performance, based on seating availability.
