Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center offers new sustainable contribution program

CAVE CREEK – The Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center announces the creation of Pantry Patrons, a new partnership program that allows donors to contribute on regular scheduled intervals for sustainable assistance.

The new program will allow individuals and businesses to become monthly, quarterly or yearly contributors to the food bank, according to Pam DiPietro, executive director of Foothills Food Bank.

In 2018, Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center provided more than 1,119,952 pounds of food to clients, $97,672 in financial assistance and other life necessities to individuals and families in the desert foothills, which encompasses a 180-square mile area that includes Black Canyon City, Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, Desert Hills, New River, north Scottsdale and north Phoenix.
