Free senior placement service throughout Deer Valley, New River and Anthem communities

PHOENIX — Assisted Living Locators announced today new ownership of its franchise in the north Phoenix area. Now owned by Sean Barret, a Phoenix native and a graduate of Northern Arizona University, Assisted Living Locators helps provide the full continuum of care by locating quality assisted living options throughout Deer Valley, New River and Anthem communities.

Assisted Living Locators offers a no cost service for seniors and their families, providing expert advice on short and long-term care options, including in-home care, independent living, assisted living, memory care and retirement apartments. The business generates revenue from referral fees paid by the facilities.

According to the Administration on Aging, the population of adults 65 and older is experiencing the biggest increase in history. Between 2010 and 2050, the number of seniors is expected to more than double.

“There are many different options for care and housing to serve the growing senior population, including in-home companion care, 55+ communities, independent retirement options, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities,” said Barrett. “Seniors and their families need a trusted advisor to help them navigate the overwhelming amount of information and make an informed decision. We are also a resource for short-term respite care, emergency discharges, and out-of-town relocations.”

Barrett explained that Assisted Living Locators conducts a complete assessment of a senior’s needs and recommends services and facilities for each individual. He also develops an ongoing plan that provides for seniors as their needs change.

“Our goal is to help families choose appropriate care options for their loved ones, to save time, decrease stress, and provide ‘peace of mind,’” said Barrett.  “And because we’re based in the community, not a remote call center, we offer in-depth knowledge and service that can’t be matched by online databases.  We personally tour and assess all facilities we recommend to offer facilities that provide the best care for each senior.”

“We’re passionate about helping families, creating smooth transitions and applying our local knowledge to find the best care options,” he added.
