Pet of the week: Misty

ANTHEM – At eight or nine-years-old Misty is a quiet, middle-aged gal that is a grey domestic short hair.

Initially, after she was found in someone’s garage, she was not friendly, not eating and very cranky. However, after an examination by the great folks at Daisy Mountain Vets, they found that she had many rotten teeth that must have been causing her a lot of pain.

Since these teeth have been removed, she has turned into a different cat.

She’s mellow and friendly and purrs a lot. She likes to sit on the arm of her foster mom’s recliner so that she can be petted and look out the window at the same time.

Misty would be a great companion for an older person who lives a quiet lifestyle.

If you would like to give the deserving senior gal the forever home she so deserves, please complete an Anthem Pets Matchmaker Application: https://form.jotform.com/41676646153157, or visit anthempets.org.

Her adoption fee is $40.
