North Valley Dining: Rock Springs Café
ROCK SPRINGS – Rock Springs Café has been a local fixture for 95 years and has served over one million customers. This historic café offers all kinds of classic home-cooked food, like southern style barbecue, two gun chili, and flame-broiled cheeseburgers. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are offered at the Rock Springs restaurant.
Rock Springs Café is especially famous for its pies. The café offers over 25 different types of pie, including mixed berry, cherry, rhubarb, lemon meringue, chocolate cream, coconut cream, and the classic apple pie.
“We’ve been whipping up these delicious treats for nearly a century,” said Rock Springs Café Manager April Brunk. “Enjoy a slice or take home a whole pie to share. And you never have to be without because we can ship our pies anywhere in the United States, something many travelers have requested.”
Rock Springs Café is home to a variety of events, like pie-eating contests, 4-wheeling fun, and barbecues, like the well-known Hogs N Heat. The Garden Springs Patio at the restaurant offers private event options for team building events, parties, receptions, and more, as well.
“Rock Springs Café is only minutes away from off road 4x4 or ATV excursions, horseback riding, and the Black Canyon Trail, which is well known and very popular by avid hikers,” Brunk said. “We also have small shops filled with art and locally made treasures within walking distance. Talented artisans from around the area showcase a variety of art and handcrafted items. There’s sure to be something for everyone here.”
Rock Springs Café is just off the I-17 near the Rock Springs exit, north of New River. Stop by on your way up north or make the café your main destination.
“Grab a bite to eat in our historic cafe filled with rustic charm and home-cooked tasty fixins,” Brunk said.
