PEORIA – The city of Peoria is celebrating its 30th annual Old Town Holiday Festival on Friday, November 30, from 5 to 10 p.m.
Located at Osuna Park in Old Town Peoria, near 83rd and Grand Avenues, attendees can stroll through the historic streets and enjoy all the holiday activities. The event will feature live entertainment, a visit from Santa, a snow slide with 20 tons of snow, kid zone, roaming high school choir groups, a crafters market and more.
The tree lighting and council ceremony will take place at 7:15 p.m. Activities and performances will be happening throughout the evening.
The Community Center will host a series of dance performances starting at 5 p.m. The Osuna Park stage will feature performances by Ballet Folklorico, Class Act, Red Dragon Kenpo and others. The Peoria Center for the Performing Arts will have a free concert by Tres Tenores at 8 p.m.
Parking and admission are free; some activities have a nominal fee. Parking is available at the Peoria Community Center accessed from Monroe Street or 84th Avenue. Additional parking is available at the municipal parking garages surrounding the event.
Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase.
