New Anthem Army Recruiting Center now open

ANTHEM – The new Anthem Army Recruiting Center is now open and looking for a few good recruits. The recruiting center is located at 39512 North Daisy Mountain Dr.

Recruiters from the Phoenix Army Recruiting Battalion and local residents hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting at the center on Dec. 15.

The new center marks the second time the Army had an office in Anthem. Anthem Army Recruiters have been working out of the Black Canyon Center for the past few months during construction of the office. The Anthem Center is part of the Phoenix North Army Recruiting Company that consists of five recruiting centers. The company is one of six recruiting companies that comprise the Phoenix Army Recruiting Battalion.

The Anthem recruiters have already been establishing themselves in the community by recently joining the Anthem Chamber of Commerce and participated in recent community events, according to Sgt. 1st Class Kristy Frandsen, the Anthem Center Leader.

“The goal of the recruiters at our centers is to be ‘giving-guests’ of the community,” said Mike Scheck, the public affairs specialist at the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion. “Recruiters live, work, send their children to your schools and shop in your community and they pride themselves on being good neighbors.”
