Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival opening Dec. 5

Staff Report~ 11/26/2014

SCOTTSDALE – The 3rd Annual Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival, Dec. 5-7, will be hosting a special concert by Esteban, renowned flamenco guitarist. Esteban and his daughter, violinist Teresa Joy, will be performing on Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Esteban has been playing the guitar since he was eight years old. Self-taught for most of his early years, his talent stunned everyone who heard him play. He attended Carnegie Mellon University and studied with legendary classical guitarist, Andres Segovia, in the 4th floor studio on Avenida Concha Espina in Spain. He began touring in the United States soon after. Then an accident occurred and, due to a hand injury, Esteban was unable to play the guitar for 10 years. Eventually, through dedication and love of music, he began to again play the guitar he so loved. Since that time, Esteban has topped the billboard charts many times with his numerous albums, videos, and DVDs.

Violinist Teresa Joy is known for combining violin and dance together; she makes her instrument sing with a voice that touches hearts. She feels truly blessed to be able to share her musical journey with her father Esteban.

Keith Johnson and Jason Michael Tracy will also performing at the festival on all three days. 76th Street will be hosting a special performance on Dec. 7.

The Waterfront Fine Art & Wine Festival will be held in downtown Scottsdale, at 7135 E. Camelback Road. For more information, see
