New non-profit Web for Hope assisting local families in need

11/9/16

ANTHEM – Families in need have a new resource in non-profit organization Web for Hope. Web for Hope collaborates with local nonprofit organizations and businesses to assist families and to partner on community projects.

“Web for Hope is composed of a network of experienced, knowledgeable, and remarkable individuals who believe in and know the value of helping others. Web for Hope creates a ‘web’ of hope and help around deserving families with resources, education, financial assistance, and support so families achieve their true potential and in turn, give back to their community,” founder Holly Matson said in a news release.

Web for Hope has assisted local 11-year-old Landon, who has severe medical needs. Thanks to the dedication of Azteca Landscaping and Unique Landscape and Design, coupled with local fundraising, Landon received a backyard he can play in without concern.

“We cannot thank Azteca Landscaping enough for coordinating the project and for the countless donated hours, as well as for Unique Landscaping’s design and product donation. Their partnership has opened up a new world of creativity and fun for Landon," said Matson.

Web for Hope, has launched an Adopt a Family Program to assist Anthem families in need by providing holiday festivities, food, and gifts.

“The holidays are a tough time for many families. Web for Hope believes that no child should have to go without a bit of holiday spirit,” Matson emphasized.
