Arizona’s tallest Christmas tree arrives at Outlets at Anthem
ANTHEM – If you just can’t wait for the Christmas season to kick off, you’re in luck – one of the north valley’s most iconic decorations is already here. An 80-foot tree has been set up at the Outlets at Anthem; the tree is now in the process of getting decorated in preparation for a lighting ceremony next month.
When the decoration is complete, the tree will be decked out with two miles’ worth of LED lights and over 5,000 ornaments. The three-foot copper star was specially crafted to represent the state of Arizona.
At 80 feet tall, this year’s tree is in the tallest in Arizona. Last year’s tree was about 30 feet taller and was billed as the tallest tree in the nation.
The tree lighting ceremony will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 and will feature special guest Raini Rodriguez from the show Austin & Ally. Enter now through Nov. 6 to win VIP tickets for a meet and greet with Raini; get details by visiting the Outlets customer service desk in the food court.
