Tramonto Albertsons celebrates remodel with ribbon cutting
PHOENIX – The Albertsons in Tramonto celebrated the store remodel with a grand re-opening ceremony on Oct. 19.
Store representatives noted that this is the first major remodel since the store opened in February 2003. The re-opening ceremony featured a ribbon cutting, live music from the Sunset Ridge School 7th and 8th grade band, and the presentation of checks to two local organizations. Both Sunset Ridge’s music department, under the direction of Dr. Caryn Kunz, and Daisy Mountain Veterans received checks from the Albertsons Companies Foundation.
The grocery store’s remodel includes an expanded produce department; a large assortment of premium cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood; an expanded wine and craft beer section; and a designer floral showcase. A full-service Starbucks is also included.
Other expanded features include a larger bakery, with a specialty section of cream cakes and desserts. A soup bar with an assortment of soups will also be featured.
The Albertsons in Tramonto is located at 3130 W. Carefree Highway and is open 5 a.m.-midnight daily.
