Outlets at Anthem expanding in holiday prep

Staff Report~ 10/8/2014

ANTHEM – The Outlets at Anthem is expanding, just in time for the busiest season of the year.

“The Outlets at Anthem is currently under construction, adding more convenient customer parking and direct access to our outlet stores, as well as additional courtyard enhancements, said Sara Zappia, General Manager of Outlets at Anthem.

“We are constantly looking at ways to improve our guest amenities and tenant mix, in order to meet the growing demands of our shoppers, who have come to expect a line-up of top name brands, as well as savings of up to 30-70 percent off,” Zappia added.

The construction is not affecting the current Outlets stores; all of the shops are open and accessible. Construction is visible on the south side of the outlet mall, as well as in the furthest south mall corridor.

Preparation is also being made for the delivery for the ‘Tallest Christmas Tree in the Nation,’ which will arrive on Oct. 21. The arrival of the Christmas tree marks the beginning of holiday shopping at the outlet mall. The tree lighting is planned for Saturday, Nov. 15. The annual Moonlight Madness after-Thanksgiving shopping is again planned for Thanksgiving night this year.

“It is our mission to continually focus on providing customers an unsurpassed shopping experience,” Zappia said, explaining why the Outlets is expanding parking. “Careful consideration from a customer’s perspective goes into our planning to ensure that their experience is exceptional, from the time they arrive on our property until they leave.”

All the updates to the outlet mall will be completed next month.

“The current project at Outlets at Anthem will be completed before our annual Tree Lighting event on Nov. 15,” Zappia said.
