Volunteers say ‘throne rooms’ at Kiwanis park fit for royalty
NEW RIVER – The Kiwanis Community Parks has some very special bathrooms since this summer’s renovations. Volunteers report that the new “throne rooms” are fit for a king or queen!
Thanks to the hard of work of Kiwanis volunteers, the worn park bathrooms are now remodeled. Getting the bathrooms up-to-date helps make the park user-friendly for Little League, parties, events, and kids coming to play at the play structures.
New River Kiwanis extended a special thank you to Joe Esposito of Dynamic Plumbing for donating his efforts toward the completion of the bathrooms. Kiwanis also thanks Home Depot/Tramonto, Republic Disposal, New River/Desert Hills Association members, and long-time resident Jeff Jones. Through the hours of work from these hardworking volunteers, the New River Kiwanis Park is updated and ready for the community to enjoy!
The park has been maintained and funded by the New River Kiwanis since 1987.
