Public Safety Fair to be held Oct. 8
PHOENIX – The community is invited to the 5th annual Public Safety Fair, to be held at Desert View Bible Church, on Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
This community event is sponsored by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Daisy Mountain Fire Department and HonorHealth. The event will include police and fire demonstrations, including a simulated car crash with fire and extrication, K9 demonstration, SWAT, explosives demonstration, and much more. Get a close look at fire engines, a ladder truck, and sheriff’s cars and helicopters. HonorHealth representatives will be on hand to talk about healthy living, and the Phoenix Herpetological Society will have live demonstrations.
Parking and admission to the Public Safety Fair are free. Food trucks will be on-site.
Desert View Bible Church is located at 105 W Carefree (Central and Carefree Hwy), in Phoenix.
