Cave Creek Info Center seeks volunteers

Staff Report~ 9/24/2014

CAVE CREEK – The Cave Creek Information Center in Frontier Town, Cave Creek is ready for another exciting season and is currently seeking additional volunteers for greeting the many visitors to Cave Creek. In the past year, the info center has welcomed over 9,500 visitors from all over the world. Even more are expected this year!

The requirements for being an info center volunteer are easy – a friendly, positive disposition, a love of Cave Creek and Carefree, and some knowledge of the area as well as a willingness to learn more. A weekly commitment of a 2.5 hour shift is also required.

The Cave Creek Information Center is the perfect place to enjoy the ambiance of the Ol' West and be with friends old and new, while meeting people from all over the world. The info center’s jailhouse theme is a popular photo spot for visitors.

Volunteers love the time they spend at the Cave Creek Info Center.

“It's been great meeting interesting people from all over the world and being able to answer their questions and guide them in the right direction,” says volunteer Lisa Greenman. Lisa also enjoys learning more about the Cave Creek/Carefree area by helping visitors.

For others, it’s about the sheer joy and satisfaction of giving back to their community.

“Each day brings a joy that keeps me returning to help serve our community in this special way,” says volunteer Susie Snider.
