Jags football season kicks off with first varsity game this Friday

ANTHEM – Friday night football starts up again this Friday, Aug. 19, with the Boulder Creek High School varsity team at an away game at Hamilton, starting at 7 p.m. This season will be the first with new head football coach Tony Casarella, who was introduced last February.

JV starts off the season with a Wednesday game at Paradise Valley on Aug. 24, at 6 p.m. The rest of the JV season games are scheduled for Thursday nights. The frosh season also starts on Aug. 24, with a home game against Paradise Valley, starting at 6 p.m.

If you’re interested in volunteering for team activities or sponsoring the team, contact the Boulder Creek Football Foundation. This volunteer organization organizes activities and fundraisers and helps bring Jags families together. The next BCFF meeting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. See more about the organization at www.bchsjagsfootball.com.
