This new senior living community, located off Meridian Drive in Anthem, is set to start taking reservations in fall 2015. The community will have 127 apartments for seniors, with various levels of care offered.
The community is invited to attend the July 29 groundbreaking. A reception will be held after the ceremony, with a variety of breakfast items.
“We have received such a warm welcome, and we are really looking forward to the chance to celebrate the groundbreaking for our Merrill Gardens senior living community with the residents of Anthem,” said Bill Pettit, President, R.D. Merrill Company.
Pettit will be speaking at the groundbreaking, as will Chad Lorentz of Urbal Architecture, Lew Rees of the Anthem Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tim Fyke of the Anthem Community Council.
The two-story planned facility will include a wide array of amenities, including an enclosed courtyard, outdoor pool, wellness center, theater room, library, beauty salon, several lounges, a casual dining bistro, and a restaurant style dining room.
