No injuries caused by aircraft emergency landing in New River


NEW RIVER – A small plane made an emergency landing in New River, near N. Coyote Pass Rd., on Monday morning. No injuries or structural damage occurred due to the incident.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were on-scene with the pilot shortly after the emergency landing and that the pilot was the sole occupant of the plane.

Daisy Mountain Fire Department crews responded to the incident and noted that there were no injuries caused.

At this time, the cause of the emergency landing is unknown, and the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
