Low-cost pet vaccines and microchip clinic, July 9

CAVE CREEK – The Arizona Animal Welfare League is partnering with the Foothills Food Bank to offer free or low-cost vaccination and microchipping for pets at a clinic on Saturday, July 9, at the Foothills Food Bank.

Services are available to food bank clients and the general public. The vaccine and microchip clinic runs from 8-11:30 a.m.

Food bank clients can receive free 4-in-1 and rabies vaccines for cats and dogs; clients must complete a voucher request at the food bank. Others can get vaccines for $18 each or $45 for three vaccines (same pet) and $20 microchips. Paying clients should contact the food bank at or (480) 488-1145 to be assigned an appointment time to reduce waiting. At the event, all dogs must be leashed or in carriers, and cats must be in carriers.

The Foothills Food Bank is located at 6038 E. Hidden Valley Drive, in Cave Creek.
