Boulder Creek students win SkillsUSA Engineering Technologies Team competition
ANTHEM – Cheyanne Kratz, Nicki Liu, and Zachary Williams from Boulder Creek High School took first place at the Skills USA Engineering Technologies event. They’ll be competing this summer at the national Skills USA competition.
At the event, the Boulder Creek team demonstrated their ability to design an innovative engineering project and present those ideas along with a display and live model. The team captured first place with their algae air purification project. During the presentation, Junior Cheyanne Kratz and Seniors Nicki Liu, and Zachary Williams were judged on their performance as a professional team, their storyboard model, and the overall presentation of their project to a panel of judges from the engineering field.
This extraordinary team of students will compete at nationals in Louisville this summer. Congratulations to Cheyanne Kratz, Nicki Liu, and Zachary Williams and Advisor Aaron Parsons!
