NVCA appoints new Leadership Team members in preparation for new campus opening
PHOENIX – North Valley Christian Academy has appointed key personnel to their Leadership Team in preparation for the new campus opening, scheduled for August 16, 2017. The new team members include Alicia Roberts, Kacey Johnson, and John Kennedy.
Nate Kretzmann, Executive Director, commenting on NVCA’s personnel growth, said, “We are blessed to attract such talented and experienced individuals who are leaders in their disciplines and are committed to developing global ready Christian leaders.”
Roberts has over 20 years’ experience in teaching in the fields of science, math, engineering, and design. She has developed STEAM labs at local schools and speaks nationally and teaches workshops promoting STEAM integration.
Johnson 11 years of teaching and athletic coaching experience. Johnson has worked as a licensed educator and coach at the K-12 level and has developed strong middle school and high school athletic programs. She is a member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
Kennedy has 30 years’ experience in leadership, construction, and the development industry. He has worked extensively in the public market sector with an emphasis in K-12 Schools, along with higher education, healthcare, and federal projects.
In the 2017-18 school year, NVCA will open its new 72,000 square foot campus located at 33655 N. 27th Drive, Phoenix, relocating from its Anthem space and offering an expanded curriculum of liberal and performing arts, STEM, and athletic programs. The school will include a high school and will accommodate over 600 students.
