Desert Wind Harley earns Visionary Award from local motorcycle safety group

PEORIA – The Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF), a non-profit foundation focused on reducing rider and motorcycle crashes in Arizona has awarded Desert Wind Harley the first-ever AMSAF Visionary Award.

AMSAF promotes the widely known “Share the Road” campaign, and Desert Wind owner, Ray Croghan, is credited with supporting the motorcycle and driver community through donations and training scholarships. He is respected as one the leading Harley Davidson dealerships.

“AMSAF is excited to present this first-time award to Ray Croghan for all he does, and has done, for the motoring community,” says Mick Degn, AMSAF executive director.
Degn says the number of crashes and fatalities in Arizona continue to rise, as does distracted driving. Promoting awareness for motorcyclists and drivers to share the road has become a major issue for the State of Arizona.
