‘Rock the Toad’ to take place on April 22


CAVE CREEK – Get ready to rock on Saturday, April 22, at The Horny Toad! The restaurant will host an entertainment-filled, family-friendly event known as Rock the Toad, with multiple youth musical performers from the Rock the District program, as well as a demonstration from the Arizona Gunslingers. Activities start at 10 a.m. that day, and admission is free.

Rock the District performers will entertain event guests, starting at noon. The performer line-up is scheduled as The Undecided at 12 p.m., Henry Thompson at 12:30 p.m., Carissa Canto at 12:45 p.m., House of Noise at 1 p.m., Brook Newman at 1:30 p.m., Alexis Brown at 1:45 p.m., bareteeth at 2 p.m., Eden Cuslo at 2:15 p.m., Seylah Cislo at 2:30 p.m., TnT at 2:45 p.m., Promise to Myself at 3 p.m., Sam Potter Band at 3:30 p.m., and Mitchell Wolfe at 4 p.m.

During the event, members of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association, known as the Arizona Gunslingers, who share a common interest in preserving the history of the Old West, will demonstrate their shooting skills and assist event visitors interested in trying the sport of cowboy fast draw. The restaurant has also announced plans to offer food and drink specials that tie into the Rock the Toad theme.

Rock the District, the only teen musician program of its kind in the nation, is a parent-guided, student-driven program that is part of Cave Creek Unified Education Foundation.
