Anthem Art Gallery showcases new exhibit

Anthem artist Renee Palmer-Jones will showcase her latest contemporary oil paintings in a one-woman show at Anthem Art Gallery at The Caepe School.
An art opening event is scheduled for 7 – 9 p.m. April 10. Open to the public, the event features a reception with the artist along with refreshments.
“Renee’s Organic Abstracts are alive and fluid,” Anthem Art Gallery Curator Dawn Kirchner said. “Viewers feel they can figuratively reach into the paintings and feel the movement and emotion of her art. Her work is very unique and recognizable.”
The exhibit opens today and runs through May 8. It is open to the public by appointment by calling 623-533-5810.
Palmer-Jones is a member of the North Valley Plein Air Painter’s League, the Sonoran Art League and the Flair Art Group in Anthem. She is also a founding member of the Arts Council of the North Valley.
Anthem Art Gallery opened in 2009 as a component of The Caepe School, a private, nondenominational college preparatory school. Offering classes and featuring local and national exhibits, the gallery has fast become a place of pride for the Anthem community, providing North Valley residents with multiple arts resources.
