Upscale Singers bring Cave Creek ‘Back to Broadway’

The Upscale Singers’ 10th annual spring musical review, “Back to Broadway,” will be coming to the Cave Creek area for 3 days in April.
An April 4 event will take place at Desert Mountain Golf Course, located near Cave Creek Road and Pima Road, and start with a 5:30 p.m. social hour no-host bar and raffle in the Sunset Terrace of the Cochise/Geronimo clubhouse. A full-service dinner, followed by the show, starts at 6:30 p.m.
For the April 11 and April 13 performances, the venue switches to the Cave Creek Smokehouse, 1 mile west of Tom Darlington Drive on the south side of Cave Creek Road. A social hour with silent auctions and a no-host bar starts at 5:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by the show.
Tickets are $65 per person for the April 4 performance. The April 11 and April 13 venue ticket prices are $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.
Proceeds from these fundraisers support the community outreach of the Upscale Singers who have a dual mission of singing for fun, while also supporting the development of young singers.
For this year’s show, the group’s leadership picked fan-favorites including medleys from “Phantom of the Opera,”“Les Miserables,”“Mama Mia,”“Lion King” and “Annie.”
The Upscale Singers, under the direction of Margaret Watson, has presented a spring show every year since 2005.
