Taste of the Foothills fundraiser to be held March 23

3/8/17

CAVE CREEK – The Foothills Caring Corps will host its 13th Annual Taste of the Foothills Fundraiser at its new Cave Creek venue on Thursday, March 23, at Stagecoach Village.

The Taste of the Foothills fundraiser is a much-anticipated social event and fundraiser. Offering a festive evening filled with sweet and savory tastings from local restaurants, as well as live and silent auctions, and musical entertainment, it is an event for the entire Valley community.

The Cash & Caring benefit raffle offers over $9,000 in cash prize drawings. Three winners will receive cash prizes and participants need not be present to win. For the first time this year, the Taste of the Foothills will include craft beer tasting and classic and new country music from featured band Pick O’ the Litter.

The Taste of the Foothills Fundraiser is one of the Foothills Caring Corps’ two annual fundraisers and is the finale to its 2016-2017 Annual Campaign. Currently, the non-profit has raised over $500,000, moving toward their $650,000 goal.

“Every year we are in awe of the community’s involvement at this fundraiser. Every admission and raffle ticket sold is a generous contribution to our elderly neighbors and future Caring Corps endeavors,” said Foothills Caring Corps Executive Director, Debbra Determan.

The Taste of the Foothills fundraiser continually supports the Caring Corps mission to promote elderly independence, and is a vital contributor to the nonprofit’s diverse selection of programs and services.

The event takes place from, 4:30-7:30 p.m., on March 23. General admission is $100 for two adults and includes one Cash & Caring raffle entry. The $500 VIP admission provides five tickets for ten admissions, a reserved group table, and five raffle entries. All proceeds benefit the volunteer-based nonprofit.

Tickets are on sale now and will be sold at the event. To purchase admission or raffle tickets or for more information, call Foothills Caring Corps at (480) 488-1105 or visit www.foothillscaringcorps.com.
