Ignyted Artist film symposium to feature visual effects experts
PEORIA – A trio of Visual Effects working experts will headline the inaugural Ignyted Artist Feature Film and Advertising Visual Effects Symposium at Harkins Arrowhead 18, on Saturday, March 18.
Following the Symposium, attendees will have lunch, sponsored by Huntington University, across the parking lot from Harkins 18. This will be an opportunity for attendees to get “up close and personal” with the speakers.
“We are very proud to present artists of this caliber in our inaugural Ignyted Artists Symposium here in Peoria,” Michael Bucci, Founder and Managing Member of Bucci Entertainment Group, said.
The Ignyted Symposium is specifically directed towards the art and business of special effects in feature film making and advertising. The event is free, but registration is limited to the first 170 applicants.
Presenters include Matt Hartle, Mark G. Mathis, and Matthew Dean Russell.
Matt Hartle has worked in the industry nearly 19 years. Hartle has worked on more than 100 “A List” features, including Super Man – Man of Steel, Watchmen, Troy, Charlotte’s Web, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Mark G. Mathis has more than 20 years of hands-on production experience, including co-producing the critically acclaimed Precious, which won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Screenplay. Recently, Mathis produced the inspirational golf movie, Seven Days in Utopia.
Matthew Dean Russell began his film career at such influential movie studios as 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios and New Line Cinema. During that time, Russell worked on such films as Elf, Blade, Trinity, Die Hard 4, Night at the Museum, and Charlotte’s Web. Today, in addition to his work with Bucci Entertainment as an independent producer, director and screenwriter, he is a co-owner of BakedFX Studios, a highly respected digital media and visual effects design and production company located in Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY.
