CCUSD hosting career fair, 40 positions available

SCOTTSDALE – The Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD) is hosting a career fair on February 24, with interviews held from 8:30 a.m. to noon, and has almost 40 positions open. There will also be a feature presentation on how applicants can become a teacher through alternate pathways other than having a teaching degree.
The district is looking to fill openings in positions ranging from pre-school through 12th grade in high school, as well as world language teachers who can teach French, Chinese and Spanish in all grade levels.  There are also physical education teacher openings, and mathematics teachers needed for grades 7-12.
There are 24 classified positions, which are non-teaching jobs and don’t require certification, and 15 certified positions, which require a license, or an emergency certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Educations that are teaching, psychologists and speech/language jobs.
CCUSD will hold the “Dream of Being a Teacher Presentation,” where applicants can learn how to become a certified teacher without a traditional teaching degree from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., in room 26 of the district offices at 33016 N. 60th Street in Scottsdale.
There will be another date for the career fair on Tuesday April 10, with interviews held from 4 to 6 p.m. at the same location. Applicants can apply online at
