Save the date: Anthem Days set for March 12-13
ANTHEM – Mark your calendars – Anthem Days is happening next month. This showcase of all things Anthem will include a business expo, carnival, food vendors, select crafters, and live musical entertainment. Anthem Days runs the weekend of March 12-13. The Frazier Shows Carnival is scheduled to open ahead of the event on Thursday, March 10, and continue throughout the weekend. Food and drinks will be available, and the Rotary will have a beer garden on-site.
Anthem Days will feature a kids’ zone with inflatables, a 5K run/walk, and live music from Laura Walsh on March 12 and The Walkens Band on March 13. The kids can join in the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt, which is set for Sunday, March 13.
Don’t miss the Anthem Days Salsa Contest on March 12. Entries are currently being accepted and will be taken through March 4. The first 20 entries will accepted; only one entry allowed per person. Entrants must enter a gallon of their best homemade, made-from-scratch salsa to be judged and sampled. A full list of rules is available online at OnlineAtAnthem.com/anthem-days. Salsa will be judged based on taste, appearance, and overall impression. Gift cards will be awarded for first, second, and third-place finishers, and a People’s Choice winner (popular vote) will receive a plaque.
