Tax help available at Community Center
Staff Report ~ 2/17/2010

The Anthem Community Center is hosting an AARP Tax-Aide site from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Tuesday through April 13.
Last season, AARP Tax-Aide, through direct, one-on-one assistance, helped nearly 3 million taxpayers in the preparation and filing of their federal and state income tax returns.
The volunteer-run free tax preparation program provides services to low- and moderate-income people, with special attention to those aged 60 and older. Funding sources for the program include the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, the AARP Foundation and private donations.
Appointments may be made on-line at http://bit.ly/anthemtax, though counseling/tax preparation will also be available on a walk-in basis.
