Anthem residents set to compete in dance event

Anthem residents, Felix G. Ray and Priscilla Dean, amateur ballroom dancers, will be competing in the 2010 Phoenix Dance Sport Challenge from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday at El Zaribah Shrine Auditorium, 552 N. 40th St. in Phoenix. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students. Open dancing for all spectators will be interspersed throughout the competition.
Ray and Dean are recent winners of the American Smooth Senior II open division in the USA Dance S.W. Regional Championship.
