PACC911 Adopt-A-Thon returns to Anthem on Feb. 11


ANTHEM – Get ready for a tail-wagging good time – the PACC911 annual Adopt-A-Thon in the Anthem Community Park is happening Saturday, Feb. 11, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Over 60 rescues, including The Fetch Foundation, will be participating in this adoption event. The event will also feature raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, pet-related items for sale, low-cost microchipping and nail trims, and a lure course. A food vendor will also be on-site.

The Phoenix Animal Care Coalition 911 is a non-profit organization that works with over 120 animal rescue organizations throughout Arizona. Through PACC911, animal rescue partners can work together for the benefit of pets. PACC911 holds regular fundraising events and adoption events, as well as offering education, medical aid, and pet food pantry assistance.

According to PACC911’s Web site, their Adopt-A-Thon events have helped find homes for over 7,400 pets in the years between 2004 and 2014.
