New Fry’s Marketplace now open in Peoria

PEORIA – Northwest Valley residents have a new choice in grocery shopping. A 124,000 sq. ft. Fry’s Marketplace has opened on 25401 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy.

A grand opening celebration for the store was held last Friday. During the celebration, the Liberty High School band performed; Fry’s Food Stores donated $10,000 to the high school as part of their community outreach. The event featured giveaways and freebies, too.

Store amenities include a wine bar, cheese shop, full-service sushi station, bistro, and an expanded selection of gluten-free and organic products. The store will also feature an apparel department, with clothes, shoes, and accessories offered. A Starbucks will be located at the store, as well.

The new Fry’s will feature ClickList, the popular order-online and pick up at the store grocery shopping option. That service will start at the new store on Jan. 20.

A fuel center is planned for the store and is expected to be operational towards the end of next month.

The new Peoria Fry’s will be open seven days a week, 5 a.m.-11 p.m.
