Free health series offered in Anthem

East-West Integrated Healthcare and Curves of Anthem/New River are hosting Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen, a monthly health lecture series to help women and their families gain and sustain healthy lifestyles.

Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen is a series of free educational gatherings that teach men and women how to experience optimal wellness using natural healthcare strategies. Natural Medicine with Dr. Jen monthly seminars will be offered at 7 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month at Curves of Anthem, located at 42323 N. Vision Way Suite 105, in Anthem. The topics covered are holistic in nature and deal with both the physical and emotional aspects of wellness.

The series features Jennifer Calvo, doctor of naturopathic medicine (NMD), who will lead discussions on a wide range of health topics. All lectures are free and open to the public. Series currently planned include the following topics:

Jan. 27: “Natural Therapy for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue”
Feb. 24: “Menopause, Aging and Natural Hormone Replacement options”
March 31: “Weight, Fatigue and Hypothyroid-Thyroid”
